Get a reservation ASAP to LH Rooftop! Such a great place for small or large groups, with many seating options. Drinks were outstanding and the service was prompt and professional. Highly recommend trying the truffle fries and looking at the views off the rooftop.

Stopped by after doing a tour on the river. Recommended by the tour guide. Even though i didnt get a drink (it was 11am) this place has great views of the Chicago river. Will definitely return for an afternoon appetizer and enjoy the views...

My boyfriend and I were in town visiting friends for a long weekend. I've been to Chicago too many times to count but we always stay in Lakeview East - which is my favorite neighborhoods in Chicago. We were downtown for a drink and a view. We found that great combo at London House, you have a great view of Chicago River and all of the beautiful skyscrapers in Chicago. It was a little bit nippy outside but it felt great to be outside and feel the Windy City in its full form. We ordered the Purple Rain Sangria and my boyfriend ordered the Pamplemousse Spritz. The sangria was amazing, it was such a great full fruity flavor. If you are looking for views and great cocktails London House is my reco.

I had my birthday here and I really enjoyed it! Apparently, the location is busier later in the evening. My large party was there but there were very few other individuals at the Lounge. - I had no problem with this. It meant that our service was great and we had a lot of room to enjoy each other's company. - Even though it was very cold and snowy, we were able to go out on the balcony and look over the beautiful city and river. It's a fabulous location. Thank you for having us. It was a pleasure.

I'm surprised the ratings are so low. We only had two drinks but I had such a good time. Maybe it's because it was with my bestie but the views were incredible and everyone seemed to be so cheerful. The bartenders were a little less friendly but that's to be expected with how busy it is. The drinks were pricey but actually good, unlike many others. I will be back!

Came here looking for a view and to have dinner. The view was nice, but the rooftop had more of a cocktail lounge vibe and didn't seem like the could get food there, plus all the seats had "reserved" signs (I did go later in the evening/late dinner). I ended up grabbing dinner at the bar downstairs (I think it was one floor below? Same level where the rooftop host stand is). There was ample seating, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. A bit over priced, but to be expected given the downtown area, right on the riverfront. I'd go back for drinks with friends, but maybe go elsewhere for dinner first.

Summer and early autumn are great times to enjoy a rooftop in Chicago! The views and decor at LH Rooftop were perfect for our sunny October celebration with friends. The drinks were excellent & the food was very good. I loved the pretzel app we shared and it was filling for the party of 5. My Pork Belly BLT was a seasonal special and SO incredible! The chicken kebab was overcooked according to two of the people in our party who added it to their salad. Our birthday girl had a free slice of the chocolate raspberry cake which was absolutely worth every calorie... I mean so good!! Our server was kind, thoughtful and attentive. The bus boys were ready to clear our table before we finished eating so make sure you keep your eye out! I turned away for a group photo and my $18 drink (that wasn't done) got cleared from the table! Also, they will only run 2 credit cards for a table, so knowing that in advance is helpful. We just did Venmo for the party and it was no issue. All in all, it wasn't perfect but it was still a great experience and wonderful place to enjoy an outdoor meal in the city. The food was spectacular as were the drinks. I would absolutely come here again. Make sure you have a reservation & if they are busy you are given a time allotment. It wasn't busy when we were there, so we didn't have to leave until we were ready, which was a bonus.

I am really skeptical of rooftops' quality of food and drinks, but LH really impressed me! The cocktails were well-made and strong with attention to detail. I got the espresso martini and it was delicious with a nice ratio of foam!! Not to mention the view is one of the best in the city. There's an indoor bar one level below the rooftop which is a nice spot to pop in when the unplanned rainfalls hit. The rooftop doesn't have much coverage other than over the bar area. Great views and a decent amount of space on both. Definitely will be back!
